Walmart closing 51 health centers over lack of profitability

Walmart connected Tuesday announced nan closure of each its wellness clinics and related telehealth services, citing a deficiency of profitability.

The Arkansas-based retailer said it decided to shutter each 51 Walmart Health centers and nan Walmart Health Virtual Care offerings aft realizing it wasn't a sustainable business model. 

"This is simply a difficult decision, and for illustration others, nan challenging reimbursement situation and escalating operating costs create a deficiency of profitability that make nan attraction business unsustainable for america astatine this time," Walmart said successful a statement.

Walmart didn't specify erstwhile nan closures would return place.
