US investigating GM Cadillac Lyriq EVs over brake assist failures

The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced Monday that its investigative section has launched a preliminary information aft receiving aggregate reports of Cadillac Lyriq electrical vehicles losing their brake boost assistance functions.

The agency's announcement said nan section reports allege Lyriqs from the 2023 exemplary year person had instances of a difficult brake pedal, followed by a "Brake System Failure" connection astatine commencement up aliases while driving.
