April 16 (UPI) -- Boeing's Starliner spacecraft took a roadworthy travel connected Tuesday earlier its May 6 liftoff, moving from nan Kennedy Space Center to nan Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
Starliner boarded a transporter astatine nan Commercial Crew and Cargo Processing Facility astatine nan Kennedy Space Center connected Monday. Final checks were completed connected Tuesday for nan short travel to nan United Launch Alliance's Vertical Integration Facility astatine Cape Canaveral.
"The Atlas V will person its precious cargo coming arsenic nan Boeing Space Starliner spacecraft is transported to ULA's Vertical Integration Facility and lifted onto nan rocket," said ULA connected X.
Astronauts Butch Wilmore and Sunita Williams, nan spaceship's first riders, posed successful beforehand of it.

Williams added: "[Boeing] made it hap and it's clip to move complete from accumulation to operation. We're fresh to return it. We're ready."
