April 26 (UPI) -- CBS and Dick Clark Productions announced a woody Friday for nan American Music Awards to aerial connected CBS and watercourse connected Paramount+. The 2024 ceremonial will beryllium Oct. 6 astatine 8 p.m. EDT.
The American Music Awards previously aired connected ABC. The show took 2023 off.
2024 will people nan 50th day of nan American Music Awards. The AMA nominees and winners are chosen by fans utilizing metrics medium sales, opus sales, power airplay and Billboard charts.
Metrics now facet successful streaming play too.
Wayne Brady hosted nan 2022 AMAs wherever Taylor Swift won six awards. Bad Bunny, Beyonce, Kendrick Lamar and Harry Styles each won two.
